A recent family gathering was held at our Rochester, New York venue. When it was Grandma’s turn to play Krazy Arrowz, she gave it her best try, but she couldn’t pull back the bow string. She turned to our staff member and said I can’t do it. I was hoping I could, but I have a bad shoulder. Without blinking an eye, our staff member said no problem and retrieved a Nerf Blaster for her to use instead of the bow and arrow. She turned around to face the targets and started blasting away and started scoring points for her team. She turned around with a big smile on her face! She played the entire session with her grand kids and the rest of her family using the Nerf Blaster. For Krazy Arrowz, the total square footage needed for the same number of players is 1/3 the space required for laser tag! The age range for Krazy Arrowz is also more inclusive. Players as young as 3 years old can play along with their older siblings, parents, grandparents, and even their great grandparents! It’s great for adult birthday parties, corporate groups, and events as well as parties and outings for kids and teens (i.e. soft juggling balls for 3 to 6 years old, Nerf Blaster for 6 to 8 years old or adults with a bad shoulder, standard and jumbo steel-tipped darts for kids 7 to adults, or bow and arrows for kids 8 to adults – basically everyone)!
Since Krazy Arrowz can attract a much wider range of participants, it helps to fill up an entertainment venue’s afternoons and early evening hours with youth parties and family outings for the entire family. The guest demographic then transitions to older teens and adults in the evening and late-night hours.
Separate Gaming and Seating Areas

Krazy Arrowz = Swiss Army Knife of Social Gaming
- Large Target Area – A GIANT target area makes it possible to create HUGE targets – this makes it far easier for all players to score points. The easier it is to score points the more fun it is to play for all ages and skill levels. It’s worth noting that competitive players (who represent a fraction of the market opportunity) can always adjust the game settings to be significantly more difficult.
- Real Bows and Arrows for Krazy Arrowz – Real bows and arrows are used to play the 20+ Krazy Arrowz games. Shooting real arrows is what makes Krazy Arrowz a truly WOW attraction. It’s also why your guests are going to talk about it with their friends, family, and coworkers. Important note: Younger players or players with physical limitations can opt to use the soft juggling balls, standard or jumbo steel-tipped darts, or a standard Nerf Blaster to play in the same game, which means EVERYONE gets to PLAY TOGETHER!
- Standard or Jumbo Steel-Tipped Darts – Real, steel-tipped darts can be used when playing one of the 20+ games that are currently available, which makes Krazy Arrowz one of the most diverse social gaming experiences available today.
- Standard Nerf Blaster – Kids (ages 6+) can join the fun with a standard Nerf Blaster to hit targets.
- Soft Juggling Balls – Younger guests (ages 3+) can participate using soft juggling balls by tossing them at the targets.
Additional Improvements:
Enhanced Service Capabilities: With the purchase of Krazy Arrowz, two pagers are provided that enable staff members to be notified when a service request has been submitted from a lane’s touch display – such as: “Need Arrows,” “Need Food & Beverage”, or “Need Game Assistance.” The paging system works seamlessly across all three of our social gaming experiences (i.e. Krazy Darts XL, Krazy Arrowz, and Krazy Axes). When a page is received, it shows the attraction name, lane number, and the selected request so staff members can go directly to the lane knowing what they need.
Card Swipe Activation: Krazy Arrowz can be activated by a card swipe using an arcade game reader.
The goal is to keep the soft Juggling Balls out and available so players can swipe their card and immediately start playing Krazy Arrowz. If it’s a group of kids, they will have a lot of fun using the soft juggling balls to play all the different games. The length of game play and cost to play is set by the operator. Settings can be quickly adjusted based on the desired parameters.
For those players who are looking to use the bow and arrows at the start of a game, a message can be displayed that says, “If you want to play with the bow and arrows, press the request help button.” With the integrated paging system, the designated staff member will receive the page and retrieve the arrows from the lane’s built-in storage area.
Built-In Storage: For Krazy Arrowz, we have provided convenient built-in storage areas to store the arrows, steel-tipped darts, jumbo steel-tipped darts, standard Nerf Blasters, and soft juggling balls.
Easy To Replace Target Boards: Krazy Arrowz utilizes our easy to replace peel and stick archery panels.
Cost-Efficient Setup: The new structure-mounted projector for Krazy Arrowz eliminates the need (and cost) of hanging unistrut from the building’s ceiling.
Optimized Footprint: Lanes are just 8 feet wide, which is enough space to provide each group with their own personal space to gather, while eating, drinking, and socializing.
