Two Social Gaming Experiences that are Fun for All Ages and Skill Levels
We have been working diligently to make Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz the most Family and Adult friendly social gaming experiences available today! Both can now be played by kids as young as 3 years old and adults over 90 years old.
It’s been a very iterative process of rapidly testing and improving all aspects of the playing experience as well as implementing features that help to enhance the social part. These improvements have significantly increased the revenue potential of Krazy Darts and Krazy Arrowz.
Saving Humanity
The out-of-home entertainment industry is in a truly unique position to SAVE HUMANITY from the ongoing epidemic of isolation and loneliness. This epidemic was created by the crack dealers of distraction (i.e. Social Media). Plus, all the other forms of in-home and mobile entertainment that keep people from turning off their screens to socialize with their friends and family.
In order to help cure the epidemic of isolation and loneliness, we have to provide our guests with the very best out-of-home entertainment venues. Ones that make it super easy for people to gather together to laugh, socialize, eat and drink, and play face-to-face with friends, family, and the people who make up their communities. The goal is to help them share more of those In Real Life (IRL) experiences that enable them to bond more deeply with each other.
Since we operate the social gaming experiences we create, we are able to quickly make iterative improvements based on what’s working and not working. Below is a detailed list of the newest features we have implemented or improved over the last 9 months:
Increased Profit Opportunities: Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz can now provide our clients’ guests as well as our own with the most welcoming social gaming experiences that attract all ages and ultimately drive far higher revenues!
Important note: Both Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz now utilize our newest and most advanced scoring technology. Our new scoring system enables Krazy Darts and Krazy Arrowz to recognize multiple types of projectiles to score points in the same game.
- Soft Juggling Balls – Younger guests (ages 3+) can participate using soft juggling balls by tossing them at the targets in Krazy Darts XL or Krazy Arrowz.
- Nerf Blaster – Kids aged 6 and up can join the fun with a standard Nerf Blaster in Krazy Darts XL or Krazy Arrowz
- Standard or Jumbo Steel-Tipped Darts – Real steel-tipped darts is what makes Krazy Darts a perennial social gaming experience. It’s the preferred projectile for players to use when playing one of the 20+ games that are currently available. With parental supervision, children 7 and up are allowed to play with the steel-tipped darts.
- Real Bow and Arrows for Krazy Arrowz – Real bows and arrows are used to play the 20+ Krazy Arrowz games; however, players can still opt to use the soft juggling balls, standard or jumbo steel-tipped darts, or standard Nerf Blaster to play in the same game with the players using the bow and arrows, which means EVERYONE GETS TO PLAY!
- Giant Target Area – A BIG target area enables us to create BIG targets, which makes it easier for all players to score points. The easier it is to score points the more fun it is to play for a much wider range of players. It’s important to note that the more highly competitive and skilled players (who represent a fraction of the market opportunity) can adjust the game settings to be significantly harder.
In summary, Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz are both designed to be fully accessible to the entire family as well as the maximum range of adult friends and coworkers. If the goal is to create a truly welcoming social gaming experience, the focus has to be about bringing EVERYONE TOGETHER to play!
It’s important to note that our Rochester, New York venue has all three of our social gaming experiences (Axe Throwing, Krazy Darts standard, and Krazy Arrowz). For better or worse, our Rochester venue gets the prototypes and first generations of our social gaming experiences. This is how we are able to rapidly iterate ongoing improvements to all of our social gaming experiences.
Less than a year ago, our Rochester venue received the first (4) Krazy Arrowz prototypes. They are performing well and we quickly learned what needed to be improved. We have made multiple improvements based on what we learned from operating Krazy Arrowz. We also learned a lot from simply watching our guests play it as well as listening to their comments and suggestions. Krazy Arrowz has also been very popular with our staff members, which has provided us with another important source of ongoing feedback.
Based on all the feedback, we have made multiple changes to the final production model of Krazy Arrowz. Based on 5+ years of creating and continuously improving all three of our social gaming experiences, we can definitively say that Krazy Arrowz is by far our best and most unique Social Gaming experience.
5 Years of Social Gaming Revenue Growth
With the addition of Krazy Arrowz, we are going to generate over $420,000 in social gaming revenue. This number does not include food and beverage. In fact, you can add at least $300,000 in food and beverage revenue. Lastly, if you add in the arcade revenue attributable to our social gaming experiences, the total revenue is over $900,000.
Additional Upgrades:
Separate Playing Space: For both Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz, we have provided a separate playing space for each social gaming “lane”, ensuring a safer environment for children, teens, and adults.
Separate Seating Area: For both Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz, we have provided a separate seating area for each social gaming unit, ensuring a better social experience for all groups.
Enhanced Service Capabilities: With the purchase of one or more of our social gaming experiences, we now provide two pagers. These pagers enable up to two social gaming staff members to be notified when a service request has been submitted. For example, “Need Steel-Tipped Darts,” “Need Food & Beverage Service”, or “Need Game Assistance.” The paging system works seamlessly across all three of our social gaming experiences (i.e. Krazy Darts XL, Krazy Arrowz, and Krazy Axes).
Card Swipe Activation: Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz can be activated by a card swipe using an arcade game reader.
The goal is to keep the soft Juggling Balls out and available so players can swipe to start Krazy Darts or Krazy Arrowz. If it’s a group of kids, they will have a lot of fun playing with the soft juggling balls. The length of game play and cost to play is set by the operator. All settings can be quickly adjusted based on the desired parameters.
At the start of a game, a message can be displayed that says, “If you want to play using steel-tipped darts for Krazy Darts (or bow and arrows for Krazy Arrowz) just press the request help button to page a staff member.” With the integrated paging system, the designated staff member will receive the page along with the specific request selected.
Built-In Storage: For Krazy Darts XL and Krazy Arrowz, we have provided convenient built-in storage cabinets to store steel tipped darts, jumbo steel tipped darts, standard Nerf guns, soft juggling balls, and arrows.
Cost-Efficient Setup: The new floor-mounted projector for Krazy Darts XL and structure-mounted projector for Krazy Arrowz eliminates the need (and cost) of hanging unistrut from the building’s ceiling.
Optimized Footprint: Lanes are now streamlined at 8 feet wide.
Two Heights Available:
For Krazy Darts XL there are two different heights available 10’ 6” (plus 2 inches for installation) or 8’ 0” (plus 2 inches for installation).
For Krazy Arrowz there are two different heights available 10’ 6” (plus 2 inches for installation) or 9’ 0” (plus 2 inches for installation).
5-Year Journey
It’s taken us over 5 years to figure out the critical “must haves” to creating the very best social gaming experiences and most importantly what’s needed to generate strong revenues. We still have more to figure out, but based on what we have learned so far, it’s important to recognize that social gaming is truly one of the BIGGEST opportunities for out-of-home entertainment success.

Hello, I was curious if you have sold any of the Crazy darts units for use in the home environment. I recently played the game during our vacation in Orlando at Arcade Time Entertainment. We went back twice and it was the highlight of my trip. I see the cost of a 4 player system for a venue and the annual maintenance fee. I could probably swing the cost of a single system if it were prorated accordingly. I have an arcade in my basement with over 20 + pinball machines and I could free up capital to purchase a system by selling three or four of them.
