It’s important to understand that the adult opportunity for laser tag is significantly bigger than the youth market and growing. BUT, the vast majority of adults are NOT going to play in laser tag arenas that are designed for kids.
If you think laser tag’s biggest target market is kids, that’s only because the vast majority of laser tag arenas are designed for kids and that’s exactly who they attract.
A high percentage of Adults want to play laser tag with their adult friends and family, but they are not going to go to a venue where the target market is kids. Adults want to go to an entertainment venue that is designed for THEM!
To attract Adults, we have to create the coolest looking large multi-level LED Illuminated arenas that are going to impress ADULTS as well as their ADULT friends!
Plus, Adults want other adult focused amenities – such as great food and beverage and the ability to hangout and socialize in an impressive bar environment. LED Illuminated Arenas are 3 Times Brighter
It’s important to understand that LED Illuminated Laser Tag Arenas are 3 times brighter than black light/UV arenas. This is a critical difference that enables our Laser Tag Arenas to have large windows looking into the arena so guests can see the Laser Tag experience being played.

LED LT-X3 Arena Controllers
Our advanced LED LT-X3 Arena Controllers work with the Game Computer to control individual Sectors. Each Sector can be a Recharge/Re-Spawn area, Domination Sector, Headquarter, Hill, Gate, Power-Up Sector, Base Target, and much more. Our Arena Controller boards can even be used to control the lighting effects of our exterior LED Illuminated facades.
Our Arena Controllers also integrate with our new LED LT-X3 Micro Controllers, LED Light Bars, and LED Light Runners.
Each Arena Controller has dual audio outputs, which integrate with our arena game displays. Over 20 arena controllers can be utilized in a LASERTRON LED Illuminated Arena.
Arena Scoreboards
Every Base Station and Sector has a scoreboard that provides real time gameplay updates.
For example, the scoreboards show the time remaining in the game, point values of each Base Station target, Shield Level remaining in a Headquarters’ game, Total Team Score, and much more.
LED Wall Lighting
LASERTRON’s LED Illuminated Wall Lighting can change colors, pulse, flash, strobe, and react to game play events going on in the arena such as changing the wall lighting or obstacles to the Team color that is currently in the lead, plus pre and end of game light shows, and much more.
Black light UV murals are static and can’t flash, pulse, or change colors.

As successful operators already know, the durability of an attraction is extremely important to its return on investment and so is the long-term look of the attraction.
When an attraction starts to show wear and tear, our customers are going to notice. When they do, their perceived value of the attraction is going to suffer. Whether we spend the dollars needed to maintain an attraction, or not, we will always pay the price for an attraction that is NOT durable and doesn’t look good long-term.
LASERTRON has continuously invested significant dollars to design and create high quality molds and extrusions. This has enabled us to create highly durable and amazing looking LED Illuminated arenas that look great for 20 years.

Easy to Reconfigure and Update
LASERTRON arenas are also the easiest arenas to reconfigure and update over time. As we create new arena components, they are designed to be compatible with existing components.
Our unique and proprietary obstacle components enable us to create a wide range of Base Station Targets, Headquarters, Sectors, Rechargers, Respawn Areas, and Towers.
All of these structures can be modified or completely redesigned while reusing existing components and combining them with new ones. LASERTRON is the only laser tag manufacturer that has the ability to do this.
LASERTRON LED Illuminated Arenas Save You Money
With a LASERTRON LED Illuminated Arena, you don’t have to install black light fixtures and all the electrical conduit and circuits that go with it. You save $3 to $4 dollars per square foot based on the playing field size – if the total size of the playing field is 4,000 sq.ft., you can save up to $16,000 dollars.
With a LASERTRON LED Illuminated arena, you can also save between $35,000 to $65,000 every 5 to 6 years, because you won’t have to hire a professional mural artist to repaint the perimeter walls or all the arena wall panels. The same goes for an arena that uses UV-reactive wall paper.
If you want to keep a black light UV arena looking like new, it requires ongoing maintenance. If a black light arena’s murals and walls aren’t periodically touched up, your customers are going to notice the wear and tear plus it will continue to get worse year after year.
Black light paint also fades over time. This causes the arena to get darker and darker. The fading of the UV paint requires black light arena operators to pay mural artists to repaint all the perimeter walls as well as every single wall panel and obstacle on the playing field. These additional costs can be significant.
Extremely Durable Arenas = Very Low Maintenance
LASERTRON’s LED Illuminated arenas require very little maintenance to keep them looking like new.
In our Buffalo, NY venue, we operate the longest running laser tag arena in the United States, which is why we understand more than most that maintenance is a very real cost of ownership.
For our first 20 years we operated with a black light UV-painted arena with obstacles made of wood-based materials – this meant we had to repaint and do many repairs to our arena.
For both of our venues, we always strive to maintain the “Illusion of Perfection”, which basically means we continuously strive to keep our arena and our entire facility ‘looking like new’. The reality is that many black light arena operators wait too long and their arenas end up looking beat up. It’s understandable because repainting and repairing black light/UV arenas is costly – especially if you try to keep them ‘looking like new’.
We’ve spent 15 plus years and hundreds of thousands of dollars getting our LASERTRON LED Illuminated lighting and Arena Obstacles to where they are today and it was worth the effort. A LASERTRON arena has the lowest cost of ownership of any other arena available today.
