LASERTRON Battle Royale Squads<\/strong> allows players to play for REAL<\/strong> and in person the best style of first-person shooter video games that over a billion gamers play online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The number one request we get from players is that they want to play on the same team as their friends and family. Battle Royale Squads fulfills this desire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Battle Royale Squads\u2019 game format empowers<\/strong> players to recruit and build their own squads<\/strong> of up to 4 players. Each squad can create their own<\/strong> personalized and protected squad name and individual player code names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Squads compete<\/strong> in LASERTRON\u2019s proprietary and autonomous 30-minute sessions comprising 5 to 6 rounds<\/strong> where the objective is to be the Sole Surviving Squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purple Storm<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The creation of the Purple Storm was one of the most critical innovations that ultimately enabled our LASERTRON Battle Royale game concept to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Purple Storm is activated when the first player is eliminated from the Battle Royale. When a player is eliminated, their vest and phaser LED lights turn purple and their vest\u2019s shoulder speakers say, \u2018You are the Purple Storm.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Purple Storm players must then locate the closest Purple Sector to recharge. Purple Storm players are given a limited number of laser pulses and energy, but can recharge at any time. As the round progresses, more and more players are eliminated and become a part of the intensifying Purple Storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While in most Battle Royale online games the storm is simply a good way to shrink the field of play, in LASERTRON\u2019s Battle Royale the storm is a living entity that is made up of players your squad may have eliminated or they are working to eliminate your squad so their remaining squadmates can win the Battle Royale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rounds automatically end whenever there is a Sole Surviving squad. If at least one of your squadmates or you survive to the very end, your squad wins!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of each round and prior to the start of the next battle, each squad is randomly assigned<\/strong> a new Starting Sector by the game system. Starting Sector assignment notifications are delivered to each player via their phaser display and their shoulder speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To find a Starting Sector\u2019s location, players can use the display found in any nearby Sector. These Sector displays provide players with a map of the entire arena and all Sector locations. In addition, all Sectors have large LED illuminated numbered bands designed into them which allow players to see their Starting Sector from a distance and quickly meet up with their squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As each squad checks in at their designated Sector, their vests shoulder speakers will say, \u201cWelcome to Sector 5. Please standby.\u201d A short period of time is given between rounds for squadmates to formulate and implement new strategies and tactics.<\/strong> Most importantly, every additional round gives each squad the opportunity to improve<\/strong> and evolve into a stronger squad. Multiple rounds allow squads to learn faster<\/strong> and become more capable of winning<\/strong> a Battle Royale round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next, the arena sound system, in coordination with the Sector monitors, reveal who the Sole Surviving Squad was for the round just completed by displaying their photo as well as the photos of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place Squad finishers. The Sector monitors then display the photo of the Purple Storm Leader along with the photos of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place Purple Storm finishers, and finally a summary display shows each squad\u2019s rank<\/strong> compared to all the other squads and each player\u2019s individual time survived rank<\/strong> within their squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All of this is being facilitated and autonomously controlled by the LASERTRON game system<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s important to note that all of our Battle Royale Squad sessions are designated as Tournament Qualifying Sessions. In fact, there can be multiple types of Tournament Squads playing in the same Session (ex: Youth and Adult playing at the same time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is this possible?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
When players register, we ask them who in their group wants to be the Squad Captain. Once we know the Squad Captain, we let them know which Tournament Event their session points will be allocated towards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the Captain of a Squad is 12 years old, the points will go towards the Captain\u2019s Youth 17 and under LASERTRON Battle Royale Squads ranking. If the Squad Captain is 18 or older, the points will go towards the Captain\u2019s Adult 18+ Tournament ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Squads earn Battle Royale Qualifying Points<\/strong> based on how well they performed for each round played in their session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Squad Captains that accumulate enough points to Qualify<\/strong> for their designated Tournament are automatically invited via email by LASERTRON\u2019s Battle Royale software<\/strong> to participate in their upcoming Battle Royale Tournament Event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Battle Royale Scorecards<\/strong> are emailed automatically to all squad players at the end of each session played. Each player\u2019s scorecard contains their personal stats from the session as well as links connecting players to the LASERTRON Battle Royale Tournament page. Additional links on the tournament page enable squads to see how they are currently ranked as well as a link to make a reservation for another Battle Royale Qualifying Session. The more a squad plays the more Qualifying Points they gain and the higher their rank is likely to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, all squad captains receive an automated weekly or bi-weekly email notifying them of their Squad\u2019s currently ranked position<\/strong> for the upcoming Battle Royale Tournament Event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At each of our LASERTRON venues, we are running monthly LASERTRON Battle Royale Tournament events. The Tournaments for each venue are staggered by two weeks so players from our Buffalo venue can play in our Rochester Tournaments and vice versa. We are also running two separate Battle Royale Tournaments at each venue. One is for Youth 17 and under with medals<\/strong> and the other is for Adults 18+ with medals plus $1,000 in prize money<\/strong> to the top three squad finishers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
